1. Acceptance
By submitting a quote request or placing an order with Express Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your request.
2. Quotations
All quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote document. Prices are subject to change after the expiry date. Express Studio reserves the right to revise a quote if the scope of work, garment quantities, or design requirements change after the initial submission.
3. Artwork & Intellectual Property
The customer warrants that they own or hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for any artwork, logos, and designs submitted. Express Studio accepts no liability for any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights. By submitting artwork, you indemnify Express Studio against any claims arising from such use.
4. Garment Supply
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for supplying and delivering all garments to our premises before production can commence. Express Studio accepts no responsibility for garments lost, damaged, or delayed in transit to our facility. Garments should be inspected and counted by the customer before delivery. Any discrepancies or pre-existing damage must be noted at the time of drop-off.
5. Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and schedule an order. The remaining balance is due in full on or before collection or delivery of the completed goods. All quoted prices exclude VAT. Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current statutory rate (15%) will be added to all invoices. Express Studio reserves the right to withhold delivery of completed goods until full payment has been received.
6. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days from the date of artwork approval and receipt of all garments at our facility. Rush orders are subject to availability and attract an additional surcharge. All turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Express Studio shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Artwork Approval
Production will not commence until the customer has formally approved the digitised or prepared artwork. Any delays in providing approval may affect the agreed completion date, for which Express Studio accepts no responsibility. Additional charges may apply for rework or revisions requested after approval has been granted.
8. Quality & Liability
Express Studio takes all reasonable care to produce work of a high standard consistent with industry norms. Our liability in respect of any defect, error, or failure is limited to the value of the directly affected portion of the order. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, special, or economic losses arising from any defect or delay. Claims for defective work must be raised within 7 days of collection or delivery.
9. Cancellations
Orders cancelled after artwork has been approved and/or production has begun may be subject to cancellation fees to cover digitisation costs, setup time, and any materials or consumables already used. The deposit paid is non-refundable in all circumstances.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms, or any order placed with Express Studio, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Johannesburg, Gauteng.
